Lemons, and Ramen, and Hard Seltzer, Oh my! This Week at the Co-op

It’s the middle of citrus season in California (roughly September through April) and we’ve been getting in plenty of interesting citrus varieties here at the Blue Hill Co-op. An example of one such unique fruit is the Ponderosa Lemon (pictured with normal lemons to illustrate their mammoth size). Ponderosa Lemons are a hybrid of a pomelo and a citron and are juicy and acidic. They may be used like a typical lemon and make delicious ceviche! Read our citrus guide.
