Co-op Merch

Are you a proud member of the Blue Hill Co-op Community? Show off your Co-op Pride with these great logo products. When we choose an item for printing our logo and art on, we put a great deal of thought into the company that makes them. We always ask is it sustainably made/eco-friendly? Is it organic (when applicable)? Is the company ethically run? And whenever possible, we like it when the product is printed locally or made in the USA.

On this page, you will find information about all our Co-op Merch items. They’re not available for purchase online yet, but if you are unable to come to the Co-op in person and you wish to purchase any of these items, contact marketing@bluehill.coop, and we will make arrangements.

The Reusable Shopping Bag

We all know how difficult it can be to remember our reusable bags, and the guilty feeling when we have to take our groceries home in paper (or even worse plastic!) This bag, fro Bagito, was explicitly designed to be as easy to remember as possible. It easily folds up and fits into its own pocket and has a convenient clip that makes it easy to attach your bag to a purse or backpack. Bagito are made from 100% recycled plastic and are waterproof. The bee-themed artwork was designed by our Marketing Manager, Kipp Sienna Hopkins.

Another great thing about these bags is that Bagito donates a meaningful percentage of their profits to their sister nonprofit, Power2Sustain, a K-12 environmental literacy project.

Co-op Tote Bags

The Tote Bag has been a staple for the Co-op for many years now. It has gone through many incarnations and design changes. We still see “vintage” totes coming through the checkout lanes, and it always puts a smile on our faces. This one has designed a few years ago and is printed by Enviro-Tote. They’re made and printed in the USA and made with 100% Organic Cotton. The New Hampshire company is family owned and operated.

JOCO Glass Cup

Our Reusable cups are made by JOCO, an Australian based company. They are artisan blow from borosilicate glass, which means that they are 100% BPA-free and entirely heat resistant. You can run them through the dishwasher or the microwave and not worry about them shattering. They’re also lightweight and quite stylish. The lid and the sleeve are both made of silicone that is BPA-free and heat resistant. Plus, JOCO is doing more for the environment than just encouraging people to use less disposable cups. They’ve also partnered with Take 3 For the Sea to combat the pollution of our oceans.

“JOCO is a proud partner of Take 3 For the Sea and since 2017 the partnership has resulted in the retrieval of over 45,000 pieces of plastic from the world’s oceans. With the purchase of every JOCO cup you are not only adopting a real product solution by stopping the flow of plastic but supporting the efforts of Take 3 and it’s plastic cleanup activity. A continuing partnership, this year your contribution will result in a minimum of 75,000 pieces removed.” —Jococups.com

Who’s your farmer? Co-op T-shirt

At the Co-op, we love farmers and the work they do for our community (and our tummies). We want people to be more connected with their food and the people who grow it. From this desire, the idea for this shirt was born. On the front, it reads “who’s your farmer?” on the back, it answers the question by listing 102 Maine farms that supply us. That includes farms who supply brands we carry like Grandy Oats and Organic Valley. The shirts are also decorated by a garlic plant and a radish designed by our Marketing Manager, Kipp Sienna Hopkins.

These shirts are made from 100% organic cotton and printed by Woodland Studios in Ellsworth Maine. The unisex-cut comes in brown and beeswax. The women’s cut, which is tailored in the waist, comes in the brown and in robin’s egg blue.

This year marks the 45th year of the Co-op’s operation. This sweatshirt was designed to celebrate that. It sports our apple with “45 Years of Healthy Living” written in it on the front. On the back, it has our name surrounded by a daikon radish and its greens. The artwork was designed by our Marketing Manager, Kipp Sienna Hopkins.

The sweatshirts are 50% organic cotton 50% recycled polyester and printed by Woodland Studios in Ellsworth.

The Co-op Bandana has been around so long, that we’ve lost the name of the artist who designed it. (If you know who it is, please let us know.) We have them in a rainbow of colors at a very reasonable price. They’re printed by Woodland Studios in Ellsworth.
